Hey Everyone,
I’m in Edinburgh, sitting in the cafe that J.K. Rowling wrote most of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s stone in! Which is making me super excited! Tomorrow I go to Liverpool!

Hi Pippa:
I’m Philip Symons, your mother’s “dog-walking friend”. She sent me the coordnates for your journal so I could take a peek. It stirred many memories from when I made my first visit to England in the summer of 1963, and went aboard the Victory, the Cutty Sark and Scott’s ship – was it the Discovery? I also went to the Edinburgh festival that summer. I was a little older than you, 25.
Now I have a daughter and four grand-daughters living in Ashtead, near Leatherhead, Sussex, not that far from you (when you’re at Herstmonceux). Stock up on the memories – they’ll last you a lifetime litterally!
Best wishes!
Philip
